We are pleased to report that we have finalized the details and dates for the very first Mining Plot Sale. The portal will interact with Binance Smart Chain blockchain. The only officially supported wallet for the land sale is Metamask. Please prepare by familiarizing yourself with Metamask.
Important details at a glance:
- The land sale portal will open and begin accepting deposits on December 27th, 2021 at 12 PM CET
- The land sale portal will be accessible via our website https://www.minesofdalarnia.com/ or directly at https://landsale.minesofdalarnia.com/
- Users must deposit 100 DAR (BEP20) tokens to register their address and reach the minimum entry requirement to receive tickets in the land sale lottery
- Additional tickets to the lottery can be earned by several methods, which are listed in the next section
- The snapshot period begins on January 10th, 2022 and ends on January 16th, 2022
- At the conclusion of the snapshot period, addresses are selected in a lottery format. An address’ chances of being selected are determined by the number of tickets it earned during the snapshot period
- After the lottery is complete, the selected addresses will purchase (1) mining plot in exchange for the 100 DAR they used to register. Additional deposited assets will then be withdrawable by the user. Addresses who were not selected will also be able to reclaim their 100 DAR registration fee
Note: While staking additional assets increases the chances of being selected in the lottery, each address can only purchase a maximum of one mining plot
How to earn tickets
- The 100 DAR registration deposit earns you a baseline number of tickets per day. So in theory, you could win the lottery simply by registering
- Staking additional DAR (BEP20) tokens directly in the land sale portal
- Staking DAR-WBNB LP tokens from PancakeSwap in the land sale portal
- Staking CHR tokens through the Chromia website staking portal. For some additional details on this, read the appropriate section below
- For this event, Mining Ape NFTs will not have an effect on tickets generated. However, Mining Apes will be incorporated into several future promotions!
How lottery ticket amounts are calculated
Depositing 100 DAR tokens will automatically generate 100 tickets per day for the user.
Beyond this, staking additional DAR and/or CHR generates additional tickets per day. For each 1 DAR and/or 5 CHR deposited, players will get one additional ticket per day.
LP tokens will be value adjusted and weighted at the same rate as tokens.
CHR Staking through Chromia’s website
- Chroma (CHR) is the native token of the upcoming Chromia blockchain
- CHR tokens exist in both ERC20 and BEP20 format and can be acquired on several major exchanges (Binance, KuCoin, FTX, etc), or purchased on PancakeSwap
- You must stake using the same address you used to register for the land sale for staked CHR tokens to earn lottery tickets
- Users who stake CHR through the portal will also earn 25% APR paid in CHR
- Tokens are subject to a 14 day waiting period for withdrawal. Users still receive credit for staking during the 14 day waiting period, but not after it has elapsed

This land sale is selling ownership of Mining Plots on the first planet in the Mines of Dalarnia game world, Terra Prime.
Every planet in the Mines of Dalarnia game world is sectioned into a grid. Each section represents a mining plot, which is represented by an NFT. Players must explore mining plots in order to acquire resources and progress in the game. When they wish to mine a plot they do not own, they must pay mining fees to the owner of the land.
As an owner of a mining plot, you earn revenue when other players pay to mine your land. In addition, you can sell the ownership of your land (and by extension, the NFT representing it) on the open market.

Mines of Dalarnia Announces their Third Land Sale, and it’s Open to Anyone
Mines of Dalarnia announced their third and last public land sale. Like the previous ones, the sale works following a lottery system and is open to all DAR tokens holders. Here are all the details on how to participate in the upcoming sale.
This sale features plots on Terra Caldera, Terra Simia, and Terra Prime. 5,200 plots will exist at launch (4,160 acquired by players via the first three land sales and 1,040 public plots). In this public land sale, 2620 land plots (or mines) will be up for grabs. This is the final land sale before the mainnet launch.
On March 22nd, the developers confirmed the game will feature four planets at launch:
1. Luna Praxis, the free-to-play practice moon which contains only basic resources. P on this planet are publicly owned and can’t be resold on the open market.
2. Terra Prime, the site of the first Terraforming Capsule deployment. The planet features a combination of private and public plots.
3. Terra Simia, the second Terraformed planet and the homeworld of Ape-like bipeds. Both private and public plots are available on Terra Simia.
4. Terra Caldera, the third Terraformed planet, is dominated by a massive crater-like structure. As for the other plots for NFT holders, this one also features both public and private plots of land.
How to Buy Land in Mines of Dalarnia
To have a chance to get your hands on a Mines of Dalarnia Mine, you will need to deposit DAR tokens on the official website. Deposits are open since March 22nd and the snapshot period will last from March 28th until April 3rd.
The snapshot period will reward lucky lottery ticket holders with a plot of Land. A 100 $DAR ($90 at the time of writing) registration deposit earns you a baseline number of tickets per day. Depositing 100 DAR tokens will automatically generate 100 tickets per day. In addition, For each $DAR deposited, players will get one additional ticket per day. In the last lottery, 38 million tickets were issued and 500 plots won.
Participants can earn extra lottery tickets by staking/depositing additional $DAR tokens or holding Pancakeswap’s $DAR-WBNB LP tokens in their registered address.
You can join the lottery to win your plot on the main website after connecting your MetaMask wallet. The developers also introduced Uniswap V2 for those who prefer to use the new version for staking.
Winners will exchange the 100 $DAR used to enter the lottery to buy a plot of land. Participants that won’t end up winning will be able to withdraw the $DAR deposited.
Remember, all players in the game will need to mine for resources in mining plots contained in the four aforementioned planets. Owning a plot means all players mining for resources in your piece of land will pay you a fee, which will generate passive income for you.
What is Mines of Dalarnia?
Mines of Dalarnia is a mining, platforming, PvE game developed by Workinman Studio and Chromia Studios. Running on the Chromia blockchain, Mines of Dalarnia is free-to-play and browser-based. Racing against time, players mine exotic materials in hostile environments, then use the materials to upgrade their equipment and abilities.
Players own land plots in-game, and rent them out for miners. Plots come in four different terrain types: terrestrial, lava, ice, and darkness. Owners may also upgrade their lands to provide more resources. Upgrading requires resources from the miners, creating an in-game economy around keeping the plots maintained.
With most mining adventures lasting less than 5 minutes, Mines of Dalarnia is very casual friendly. The game is currently in its alpha phase, open to all, and running on the Chromia testnet.
