Блокчейн Tron — один из самых противоречивых криптовалютных проектов. С одной стороны его называли «убийцей Ethereum», а с другой стороны — считали очередным недолговечным стартапом. В этом году проекту исполнилось 5 лет, и по некоторым показателям он действительно превзошел вторую по капитализации криптовалюту.
Децентрализованная соцсеть
Блокчейн TRON — это децентрализованная экосистема развлекательного контента, запущенная в 2017 году китайским предпринимателем Джастином Саном. По его замыслу, разработчики могут создавать на платформе свои развлекательные приложения (dApps) и напрямую предлагать их пользователям, минуя посредников.
Изначально TRON был запущен на блокчейне Ethereum, но летом 2018 года криптовалюта была перенесена на собственный блокчейн. В июле 2018 года в экосистему Tron был также интегрирован проект BitTorrent, протокол для обмена файлами, насчитывающий около 100 млн активных пользователей в месяц.
Сеть TRON завершила децентрализацию в декабре 2021 года и является полностью управляемой сообществом DAO. Блокчейн развивается за счет сингапурской некоммерческой организации Tron Foundation, которая направляет все доходы на дальнейшее развитие проекта.
При создании проект позиционировался как новый вид социальной сети, не зависящей от централизованного управления: кто угодно может создавать контент и делиться им с сообществом. Tron сегодня
Архитектура блокчейна Tron состоит из трех уровней: хранение, управление и приложения. Уровень хранения используется для размещения информации о блоках, уровень управления (ядро) содержит в себе модули смарт-контрактов, управления учетными записями и консенсуса.
Третий уровень предоставляет разработчикам возможность создания DApps на различных языках программирования, таких как Java, Scala, C++ и Python. Технические особенности блокчейна Tron позволяют использовать для смарт-контрактов любой язык высокого уровня, что делает эту сеть одной из ведущих платформ для создания приложений.
Этот блокчейн обладает высокой степенью масштабируемости, что открывает перед разработчиками массу возможностей по развертыванию своих приложений при одновременном использовании миллионами людей. Tron имеет лучшую пропускную способность, чем сети Ethereum или Bitcoin, и механизм распределения вознаграждений, который делает консенсус более децентрализованным и повышает безопасность сети.
Также у блокчейна TRON есть сайдчейн-проект Sun Network. Его цель состоит в том, чтобы помочь приложениям работать с меньшим энергопотреблением, более высокой скоростью и усиленной безопасностью. Токены TRC-20
В блокчейне Tron используется стандарт токенов TRC20, который поддерживают основные криптовалютные биржи и кошельки. Еще один стандарт — TRC721 — используется при взаимодействии с NFT.
По данным TRONSCAN, общая сумма переводов в сети TRON превысила $5 трлн, а количество учетных записей в сети составило 105 млн. Объем заблокированных в протоколе средств (TVL) составляет около $11,3 млрд. На базе блокчейна Tron (по стандарту TRC-20) работает множество криптовалют. Самыми известными токенами, поддерживающими стандарт TRC-20, являются:
TRONIX (TRX) — это собственный токен сети, основная расчетная единица в блокчейне TRON. На 2 августа 2022 года токен занимает 17-е место в списке ведущих криптовалют с рыночной капитализацией в $6,3 млрд, по данным Coingecko.
USDT (Tether), крупнейший по капитализации ($65 млрд) стейблкоин с привязкой к доллару США и выпущенный компанией Tether, работает в том числе и в сети TRON. По информации разработчиков, оборот USDT на блокчейне Tron обогнал оборот той же монеты в сети Ethereum еще в 2021 году.
Ключевое преимущество блокчейна Tron — это размер комиссии. В виде TRC-20 перевод токенов USDT обходится примерно в $1. А в виде ERC-20 сбор может составить как минимум $2, а верхнего предела не существует: в момент перегруженности сети суммы комиссий достигали десятков и сотен долларов.
USD Coin (USDC) — еще один стейблкоин, привязанный к доллару США. USDC совместим с несколькими блокчейнами, включая сеть TRON. Токен был запущен в июне 2021 года и продемонстрировал значительное распространение: за несколько месяцев в сети было совершено транзакций на сумму более $200 млн.
BTT (BitTorrent) — это служебный токен TRC-20, поддерживающий dApps, которые включают BitTorrent Speed, файловую систему BitTorrent и другие. За токены ВТТ можно увеличить скорость загрузки файлов, получаемых торрент-клиентами.
APENFT (NFT) — официальный токен управления маркетплейса APENFT, входящего в экосистему Tron и работающего на базе сети BitTorrent. Эта монета служит доказательством прав на невзаимозаменяемые токены. Владельцы криптовалюты могут голосовать, делиться прибылью и участвовать в аирдропах токена.
USDD — это алгоритмическая стабильная монета, выпущенная платформой Tron 5 мая 2022 года. Стейблкоин обеспечен более чем на 318% на 2 августа такими активами как TRX, BTC, USDT и USDC.
Не без неприятностей
Как и практически любой блокчейн-проект, Tron неоднократно сталкивался в своей истории с проблемами. Так, 13 июня USDD потерял привязку к доллару США и упал до отметки $0,84, а токен обеспечения TRX снизился в цене на 22%. Для стабилизации курса своего стейблкоина компания поэтапно увеличивала резервы до 323%, покупая дополнительные монеты TRX и USDC.
А в конце июля на криптовалютной бирже KuCoin произошел шортсквиз (резкий краткосрочный рост) того же стейблкоина USDD: цена токена достигла в моменте 9,996 млн. USDC. Ранее о возможности такого индицента предупреждал основатель сети Tron Джастин Сан, но он предполагал, что событие могло произойти с другой криптовалютой сети — TRX (Tron).

Announcement On TRON Foundation Restructured As TRON DAO

Cryptocurrency has gained popularity, and so has the concept of decentralizing the internet. The new era is where the internet is not just controlled by a single person. Every member of the community owns it.
TRON Network came under the spotlight after the launch of MainNet in 2018. The independent blockchain strengthened the spread of the adoption of decentralization. This officially led to the dissolution of the TRON Foundation on July 25, 2021.
DAO, short for Decentralized Autonomous Organization, now stands tall with the support of the community members.
Background
Founded in September 2017, the TRON Network remained a pioneer of decentralizing the internet till the time it was officially dissolved to be restructured into a new organization.
H. E. Justin Sun, the founder of the TRON Network, dedicated all his efforts to accelerate the process and adoption of decentralization via blockchain technology and decentralized apps.
After one year, that is, in May 2018, the network launched MainNet. It is an independent blockchain capable of running its network by its technology and protocol. MainNet turned out to be a game-changer for the network as it constantly assisted the team in fulfilling its commitment to the community members.
The integration of TRON with BitTorrent in July 2018 made it more evident than it was, leaving no stone unturned to achieve its objective.
Other achievements of the network include gaining 70 million users on the blockchain network and upwards of 2.7 billion transactions. TRON DAO is now entirely governed by the community, something that could happen after the network achieves full decentralization in December 2021.
Introducing TRON DAO!
TRON Foundation achieved its objective in the previous year and successfully guided the community to achieving decentralization. This called for the dissolution of the foundation and restructuring it to TRON DAO, something that we came across in the previous section.
The TRON Network had three major nodes, namely justinsuntron, BitTorrent, and Utorrent. All of them quit the TRON Super Representatives in December 2021.
It is now left with 27 nodes, all of them belonging to the community. While it was the dissolution of the Foundation that highlighted the process of restructuring the network, it was also the stepping out of the three nodes that gave a hint of the Foundation being restructured.
TRON DAO commits to allowing all the members to be a part of the decision-making process and governance. It also ensures that the voice of every member is heard in the best possible manner.
What TRON DAO is trying to achieve is cementing consensus among the members, boosting their engagement, and rendering the process of decision making. These are the factors that are best known to give blockchain a competitive edge.
Post restructure, TRON DAO is estimated to go beyond the market capitalization of $100 billion with the strong support of more than 70 million accounts.
TRON currently has a variety of projects in categories like stablecoins, liquidity mining, and wallets, to name a few.
TRON is now eyeing a global expansion with a total of 4,765 nodes spread across the globe. It has even started the mission, quoting that it aims to deliver a Global Human Settle Layer.

TRON's Justin Sun Resigns, Says Foundation Will Be Dissolved By 2022
In a surprising turn of events, TRON Network founder Justin Sun has resigned from his position as CEO of the TRON Foundation. Sun announced the decision in a letter posted to the TRON website, saying that he will now dedicate himself to other projects.

In an open letter, Sun addressed the TRON community (#TRONICS), sharing his thoughts on the move:
«I have always aspired to be a successful entrepreneur and effective leader since my early days and cherished the prospect of building a profitable business empire that caters to the needs and satisfaction of my customers, shareholders, and employees. But instead, I stumbled into cultivating a decentralized blockchain platform: TRON. Though created by chance, TRON became one of the earliest communities of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) in human history. And I never regretted my choice to build TRON ever since.»
The Tron Foundation, on the other hand, will be fully dissolved by 2022, according to Sun. The decision was settled beforehand, back in July 25 this year. The revelation follows Sun’s announcement that he has been appointed as ambassador of the Grenada government to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, a new role whose duties he would now take, going forward.
Aside from his role as ex-CEO of TRON, Justin Sun is CEO of Rainberry, Inc., which was formerly known as BitTorrent, Inc., a technology company that developed the BitTorrent peer-to-peer protocol. Rainberry was later subsumed and acquired by TRON in 2018.
According to Sun, the decision to step down from TRON was aimed for «the greater benefit of society,» such that «having a founder of a thriving community abdicate all power over users, assets, and data,» would ultimately be beneficial to the community.
Following the announcement, three super nodes (“justinsuntron,” “BitTorrent,” and “µTorrent”) associated with Sun will be removed and withdrawn from the TRON technical grid, effective immediately. In effect, the TRON community will be voting for 27 new super representatives to replace what Sun has left behind.
Despite his departure from TRON, Sun promised that he will “continue to support and encourage the development of TRON and its decentralized community”.
Sun has been a controversial figure in the crypto community, notwithstanding allegations of workplace harassment and copyright violations on the TRON whitepaper itself. TRON, which was touted as one of the first Layer 1 blockchains that were considered as «Ethereum killers» has had a significant impact in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, and continues to grow its features and offerings on its own protocol.
